A zip-front parka crafted from a checked silk taffeta woven with filature silk yarns in the warp and dupion silk yarns in the weft. Inspired by American military parkas and British smocks, the design incorporates refined dress-shirt construction details throughout. The contrast between the smooth filature silk and the textured dupion silk creates a fabric with rich dimension, subtle sheen, and a sculptural presence. Lightweight and versatile, it can be worn as either an outer layer or a mid-layer.
